  Peppercorns 6
  Bay leaf 1
  Whole cloves 8
  Onion 1 Medium, thinly sliced
  Crushed dried rosemary/Thyme or marjoram 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine all ingredients.
Makes 2 cups, or enough for 5 pounds meat.
