Buttermilk Chicken Turkey Brine

Here is one of my all time favorite brines to use on Thanksgiving turkeys. It creates a bird that is ridiculously moist and juicy and has a subtle seasoned taste that doesn't overpower the natural taste of the meat which means it pairs up great with just about any gravy or dressing.

Ingredients

Buttermilk 4 Cup (64 tbs)
Black pepper 1 Tablespoon , freshly crushed
Poultry seasoning 2 Tablespoon
Hot sauce 3 Tablespoon
Onion 1⁄2 Medium , chopped
Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm) , minced
Kosher salt 3 Tablespoon

Directions

MAKING

1. In a bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well by stirring.

SERVING

2. Use this marinade to brine chicken or turkey for recipes.
