Ingredients
  Flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Eggs 3
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Melted shortening 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Maple flavoring 1 Teaspoon
  Walnuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Confectioner’s sugar 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
Beat eggs; add sugar gradually, beating well.
Add short- ening and flour mixture gradually, mixing well.
Stir in flavoring, walnuts and raisins.
Spoon batter into baking pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 min- utes.
Let stand for 5 minutes.
Cut into squares; roll in confectioners' sugar.
Cool well before storing.
