Spiced Macaroni And Cheese
|Elbow macaroni||8 Ounce (1 Package)|
|All purpose flour||2 Tablespoon|
|Instant minced onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Red pepper powder||1 Dash|
|Garlic powder||1 Dash|
|Milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Shredded cheddar cheese/American cheese||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Cook macaroni as directed in chart .
Drain in a colander and set aside.
Place butter in same 3 quart glass casserole dish.
Microwave 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds or until melted.
Stir in flour, onion, mustard, salt, peppers and garlic powder.
Gradually stir in milk.
Microwave 3 minutes, stirring every minute.
Stir in cheese, then macaroni.
Cover and microwave 4 to 6 minutes [ROASTS, 6 to 8 minutes]
