Macaroni & Cheese
|Water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Elbow macaroni||2 Cup (32 tbs), uncooked|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||2 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
In a 3 quart casserole, combine water and the 1 teaspoon butter.
Cover with a lid or plastic wrap.
Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 5 to 6 minutes or until water boils.
Stir in macaroni.
Cover with a lid or pleated plastic wrap.
Micro rowave on HIGH (100%) for 10 minutes, stirring after 5 minutes.
Let stand, covered, for 5 minutes (macaroni should be al dente).
If undercooked, microwave, on HIGH (100%) for 3 to 4 more minutes.
Toss cheese and flour together, then stir into macaroni along with the 1 tablespoon butter, milk, and salt.
Season to taste with pepper.
Cover with wax paper.
Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 3 to 6 minutes (stirring after every 2 minutes) or until sauce thickens.
Stir before serving.
