Baked Macaroni With Meat

  Macaroni 375 Gram
  Onions 2 Large
  Ghee/Substitute 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Ground meat 1 Pound
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Mixed spices 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Vinegar 1 Tablespoon
  Tomato paste 4 Tablespoon
  Tomato juice/Canned tomato soup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Eggs 4
  Grated cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

Cook the macaroni in boiling salted water until tender.
Drain, rinse in cold water, drain again and set aside.
Saute the onions in the ghee, add the meat and cook until brown all over for approximately 10 minutes.
Add the salt, pepper, mixed spices and cinnamon, then stir in the vinegar, tomato paste, tomato juice or soup and the water.
Cover and simmer gently until meat is tender for 30-35 minutes.
Spread half the cooked macaroni in an even layer over the bottom of a casserole dish.
Pour the meat mixture evenly over it, then cover in an even layer with the remaining macaroni.
Beat the eggs and pour over the top of the macaroni, allowing it to seep through the entire mixture.
Bake in a moderately hot oven, 400°F (200°C), for 40 minutes.
Remove from oven and while still hot, sprinkle with grated cheese.
Serve warm.
