Macaroni With Savory Tomato Sauce
|Grated cheese||4 Ounce|
|Buttered bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Tomato sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Peeled cooked tomatoes||500 Gram|
|Chopped capsicum||3 Tablespoon|
|Chopped onion||3 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Chili powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon (Leveled)|
|Ground cloves||1 Teaspoon|
SAUCE : Heat fat in pan, then add green pepper (capsicum), onion, and garlic.
Cook for about 5 mins., until tender but not brown; drain off fat.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer for about 40 mins.
Make up to 3 cups with water, if necessary.
Cook macaroni in boiling, salted water until tender; drain.
Add sauce and cheese.
Place in a casserole, top with buttered crumbs and a dash of paprika.
Bake in a moderately hot oven for 25 mins.
or until browned.
