|Elbow macaroni||8 Ounce|
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Onion||1 Medium, minced|
|Chili powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Kidney beans||1 Pound, can|
|Cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs), shredded|
Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and set aside.
Brush large skillet with small amount of fat; add ground beef and onion.
Cook until browned.
Add macaroni, 1 cup water, chili powder, salt and kidney beans.
Cover; simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Top with cheese; place over low heat until cheese melts.
