Bacon Macaroni Bake
|Uncooked elbow macaroni||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Bacon slices||10 , cut up|
|Canned tomato sauce||15 Ounce (1 can)|
|Canned tomato paste||16 Ounce (1 can)|
|Snipped fresh parsley||3 Tablespoon, divided|
|Garlic powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Prepare macaroni as directed on package.
Rinse and drain.
Place bacon in 2-quart casserole.
Microwave at High for 4 minutes.
Drain and discard fat.
Microwave at High for 4 to 7 minutes, or until bacon is crisp.
Drain, reserving 1 tablespoon fat in casserole.
Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, 2 tablespoons parsley, sugar, garlic powder and pepper.
Microwave at High for 8 to 10 minutes, or until flavors are blended, stirring once or twice.
Stir in cooked macaroni.
