Prawn and Macaroni Ring
|Tomato sauce||1⁄2 Pint|
|Mushrooms||4 Ounce, diced|
|Tomatoes||2 , diced|
|Elbow macaroni||2 Ounce|
|Hard boiled eggs||2|
Make the sauce and add diced mushrooms, if used, sherry, tomatoes and most of the prawns or shrimps.
Meanwhile cook the macaroni and form into a ring, tossing the pasta in a little butter to keep it moist.
Fill the ring with the prawn mixture, flavouring with a little lemon juice.
Garnish with prawns and sections of egg.
If desired cook a few small mushrooms and arrange round the dish.
