Macaroni And Cheese
|Macaroni||8 Ounce (240 Grams)|
|Margarine||60 Milliliter (4 Tablespoons)|
|Flour||60 Milliliter (4 Tablespoons)|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||8 Ounce (240 Grams)|
|Sliced pimentos||2 Ounce (60 Grams)|
|Prepared mustard||1 Teaspoon|
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Cook macaroni in boiling water until tender and drain well.
Meanwhile, melt margarine in a medium-size saucepan, add flour, stirring to combine.
Slowly add soy milk and cook, stirring until mixture thickens and begins to boil.
Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese alternative, pimentos, mustard, salt and pepper to taste.
Add drained macaroni, mixing well.
Turn into a lightly greased 2-quart baking dish.
Sprinkle with paprika, if desired, and bake 30-40 minutes until bubbly around edges and golden brown on top.
