Macaroni & Cheese
|Chopped green onion||2 Tablespoon|
|All purpose flour||4 Teaspoon|
|Celery salt||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Freshly ground pepper||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Processed american cheese slices||4 Ounce, torn up|
|Macaroni||3 Ounce, cooked and drained (About 0.75 Cup)|
|Chopped pimento||2 Tablespoon|
|Chopped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
|Green bell pepper rings||3|
|Grated parmesan cheese||2 Tablespoon|
1. In a deep 1 quart casserole with lid, combine butter or margarine and green onion. Microwave, uncovered, at 100% (high) 1 to 1-1/2 minutes or until onion is tender. Stir in flour, celery salt and pepper. Microwave at 100% (high) 30 seconds.
2. Stir in milk. Microwave at 100% (high) 3 to 3-1/2 minutes or until bubbly; stir every 1 minute. Stir in cheese; microwave at 100% (high) 1 minute or until cheese melts; stir after 30 seconds.
3. Stir in macaroni and pimento. Cover and microwave at 100% (high) 4 to 5 minutes or until heated through; stir after 2 minutes. Stir in parsley. Top with tomato slices and green-pepper rings. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover and microwave at 100% (high) 2 minutes or until tomato and pepper are heated through
