Drop frozen lobster tails into enough boiling, salted water to cover.
Bring to boiling.
Reduce heat and simmer the 3-ounce tails, 3 to 4 minutes; 6-ounce tails, 8 minutes; and 8-ounce tails, 11 minutes.
Prepare the tails to serve (see pictures).
Accompany with melted butter and lemon or use the meat in recipes calling for cooked lobster.
