Curried Shrimp, Peas And Potatoes

Ingredients
  Tiny new potatoes 12 Ounce
  Whole onion/12 ounce onion slices 13 Ounce (3 Cups)
  Corn oil/Safflower oil / canola oil 2 Tablespoon
  Ground cumin 1 Teaspoon
  Ground coriander 1 Teaspoon
  Turmeric 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cayenne pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
  Frozen peas 10 Ounce
  Fresh shrimp 8 Ounce, cooked and peeled
  Plain yogurt 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Low / Non Fat Variety)
  Minced mint/Cilantro leaves 2 Tablespoon (Fresh Ones)
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Scrub the potatoes, but do not peel.
2) Cut them into halves.
3) Slice the whole onion
4) If using mint or cilantro, chop them.

MAKING
5) In a covered pot, boil the potatoes for about 17 minutes, until tender.
6) In a skillet, heat oil and saute onion ith cayenne pepper, cumin, turmeric, coriander and black pepper.
7) When onions are softened, add peas.
8) Drain the boiled potatoes. Cut them into quarters.
9) Add potatoes, shrimp and yogurt to the skillet.
10) Heat the shrimp and gravy but do not boil as it may curdle the yogurt.

SERVING
11) Sprinkle the chopped mint or celery and serve the dish hot.
