Basic Boiled Lobster

Ingredients
  Live lobsters 5 Ounce (4 Lobsters, 1 1/4 Pound Each)
  Boiling salted water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted (1 Stick)
Directions

1. Drop live lobsters into a very large kettle of boiling salted water; cover. Lower heat; simmer 10 minutes, or until lobsters turn bright red. Remove at once with tongs and drain.
2. With a sharp knife, split lobsters down the center (underside) and brush liberally with melted butter or margarine. Or, if you prefer, simply place 1 lobster and a small ramekin of melted butter or margarine on each of 4 plates, with oyster crackers and picks for each person.
