Whole Lobster

Ingredients
  Live lobster 1
  Hot water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

On a cutting board, place lobster on its back.
To kill, sever the spinal cord by plunging the point of a sharp knife through to the back shell, where tail and body cavity are joined together.
With a sharp knife, cut lengthwise through the under shell, leaving the back shell intact.
Remove small sack below the head and the intestinal vein which runs from it to the tip of the tail.
To prevent curling, peg the tail by running a wooden skewer through it lengthwise.
Place lobster shell side up in (12 x 8 inch) baking dish.
Pour in 1/4 cup hot water.
Cover tightly with plastic wrap.
MICROWAVE 2 MINUTES on HIGH.
Turn lobster over.
Cover.
MICROWAVE 2 MINUTES on HIGH.
Turn lobster shell side up.
Cover.
MICROWAVE 6 to 8 MINUTES on '6', or until shell is bright red.
Let stand 5 minutes, covered.
