Pour water into large kettle.
Add salt; cover.
Bring to boiling point over hot coals or high heat.
Plunge lobsters headfirst into boiling water; cover.
After water has returned to boiling point, simmer 15 to 20 minutes, depending on size of lobsters.
Test lobster by taking hold of a leg; if it detaches easily, lobster is cooked.
Do not over cook.
Drain; crack claws
