Meaty Cheese Loaf
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Lean ground pork||1⁄2 Pound|
|Soft bread slices||3 Medium, torn in pieces|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Minced onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Salt||1 1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Dry mustard||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Celery salt||To Taste|
|Garlic salt||To Taste|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Velveeta cheese slices/American cheese slices||6|
Mix beef and pork together with hands; add torn pieces of bread, milk, egg, minced onion, salt, pepper, dry mustard, celery salt, garlic salt and Worcestershire sauce.
Shape into a loaf.
Place in shallow baking dish.
Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Cover with cheese and bake 10 minutes longer.
