Meaty Cheese Loaf

  Ground beef 1 Pound
  Lean ground pork 1⁄2 Pound
  Soft bread slices 3 Medium, torn in pieces
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Minced onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dry mustard 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Celery salt To Taste
  Garlic salt To Taste
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Velveeta cheese slices/American cheese slices 6

Mix beef and pork together with hands; add torn pieces of bread, milk, egg, minced onion, salt, pepper, dry mustard, celery salt, garlic salt and Worcestershire sauce.
Mix thoroughly.
Shape into a loaf.
Place in shallow baking dish.
Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Cover with cheese and bake 10 minutes longer.
