Hot N Zippy Sandwich Loaf

Ingredients
  White bread 1 Pound (Unsliced And About 8 Inches Long)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Soft Variety)
  Instant minced onion 3 Tablespoon
  Prepared mustard 3 Tablespoon
  Poppy seed 1 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Red cayenne pepper 1 Dash
  Swiss cheese slice 12
  Luncheon meat 12 (Thin Slices)
Directions

Heat oven to 350°.
Carefully trim crust from top of bread.
At equal intervals make 6 diagonal cuts from top of loaf almost through to bottom.
Place loaf on lightly greased baking sheet.
Mix butter, onion, mustard, poppy seed, lemon juice and cayenne pepper.
Reserve about 3 tablespoons of the mixture.
Spread remaining butter mixture into cuts.
Alternate 2 cheese slices and 2 meat slices in each cut, allowing each to stick out slightly at top and sides of bread.
Spread reserved butter mixture over top and sides of loaf.
Bake 25 minutes; cover with foil during last 10 minutes of baking.
To serve, slice completely through each diagonal cut, between meat slice and bread.
