Date Apple And Walnut Loaf

Ingredients
  Cooking apple 1 Small
  Soft margarine 4 Ounce (110 Gram)
  Soft brown sugar 6 Ounce (175 Gram)
  Eggs 2 , lightly beaten
  Whole-wheat flour 4 Ounce (110 Gram)
  Plain flour 4 Ounce (110 Gram)
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Baking powder 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Walnuts 4 Ounce, roughly chopped (110 Gram)
  Pitted dates 3 Ounce, roughly chopped (75 Gram)
  Milk 4 Tablespoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven.
2 Grease baking tin.

MAKING
3 Into a large mixing bowl, put the margarine, sugar, eggs, sifted flours, salt and baking powder.
4 With an electric hand-whisk, whisk them together until thoroughly combined.
5 Peel, core and roughly chop the apple and add it to the mixture.
6 Pour in the milk, and mix it all well.
7 Transfer the mixture to the prepared tin, spreading evenly.
8 Bake for 1 hour or until the loaf feels springy in the centre and a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean.
9 Allow the cake to cool for a minute or two in the tin, then turn it out onto a wire tray.

SERVING
10 Serve as desired.
11 Store the remaining in an airtight tin.
