|Soft bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Melted butter||3 Tablespoon|
|Onion||2 Tablespoon, minced|
1. Preheat the oven
2. In a large kettle, heat the water and tip in the beans. Turn off the heat and leave to soak overnight.
3. The next day, bring the beans to a boil. Simmer, covered, until beans are tender. Drain beans well; mash until smooth.
4. Combine beans, bread crumbs, egg, salt, pepper, butter and onion. Mix well; turn into greased bread pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
5. Unmold loaf onto serving platter.
6. Serve with tomato sauce.
