Wholewhear Health Loaf
|Flour wheatgerm||2 Ounce|
|Powdered milk||2 Tablespoon (Leveled) (nutritional)|
|Active dry yeast||1 Teaspoon (Brewer's)|
|Sunflower oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Salt||1 Tablespoon (1 heaped tablespoon)|
|Water||1 1⁄4 Pint, tepid|
To prepare yeast: Place 1 tspn, sugar in 1/2-cup warm water, add 1 tspn, active dried yeast, mix and allow to stand in a warm place for 15 minutes.
Method: Grease 2 x 1 lb.
Mix dry ingredi- ents, make a well in the centre and pour in half of the water, the yeast, honey and molas- ses.
Blend liquid ingredients for half a minute and then stir in flour and the rest of the water.
Put in greased tins to rise in warming oven for 1 hour.
Bake at 400° F for 10 mins.
and 375° F for a further 60 minutes.
