Gourmet Veal Loaf
|Veal shoulder||1 1⁄2 Pound, ground|
|Shredded carrots||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Small, minced|
|Canned chopped mushrooms||3 Ounce (1 Can, Undrained)|
|Dried bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Bottled thick meat sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped parsley||1 Tablespoon (For Garnish)|
About 1 1/2 hours before serving: Preheat oven to 375°F.
In large bowl, with fork, stir veal, carrots, onion, mushrooms, crumbs, salt, pepper, meat sauce with sour cream.
Turn into 9" by 5" by 3" loaf pan.
Bake 1 1/4 hours.
Pour off juices; invert loaf on heated platter; sprinkle with parsley.
