Orange Bubble Loaf
|Hot roll mix||16 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Grated orange peel||2 Teaspoon|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted|
|Mixed candied fruits||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|California walnut halves/Almond halves||5|
Prepare roll mix and let rise according to package directions.
Form dough in 1-inch balls.
Mix sugar and orange peel.
Dip balls in butter, then roll in sugar mixture.
Grease a ring mold, tube pan, or loaf pan.
Loosely fill pan 1/2 full with layers of balls.
(If extra dough, shape as rolls.) Let double.
Bake in moderate oven (375°) 15 to 25 minutes or till done.
Invert on rack.
Trim with candied fruits and nuts.
