Zigzag Sandwich Loaf

Ingredients
  French bread loaf 1
  Melted butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Pickle relish 2 Tablespoon
  Prepared mustard 1 Tablespoon
  Bologna slices 12
  American cheese 1⁄4 Pound, cut into strips
Directions

1 Cut bread diagonally into 6 thick slices almost through to bottom crust; turn loaf end for end; slice same way again to make zigzag cuts completely across top.
2 Combine melted butter or margarine, pickle relish and mustard; brush between slices; fill cuts in bread with folded bologna slices and cheese strips (have cheese overlap crust so it will melt over top); wrap loaf loosely in aluminum foil; seal.
3 Bake in hot oven (425°) 10 minutes; open foil wrapper and fold back; bake 5 minutes longer, or until cheese is golden-brown and slightly melted.
