Ingredients
  Pecans 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  Natural cheddar cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs), grated
  Whole wheat germ 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Soy grits 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), soaked in 1 /2 c stock for 15 minutes
  Sea salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Paprika 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Grated onion 1 Teaspoon
  Minced parsley 1 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2 , beaten
Directions

Combine all ingredients except wheat germ.
After well mixed, then stir in the wheat germ.
Turn into loaf pan.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
Serve with mushroom sauce made by sauteing 1/4 pound mushroom caps in 2 tablespoons corn germ oil and then adding 2 tablespoons wholewheat flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, dash of nutmeg and a half cup each of milk and cream.
Cook until smooth and thick.
