Non Fat Pizza Loaf
|Active dry yeast/1 cake red star compressed yeast||1 Tablespoon (1 Red Star Package)|
|Warm water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Instant nonfat dry milk||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted (Land O'Lakes)|
|Flour||3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs) (Pillsbury's Best Flour - Regular Or Instant Blending)|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sesame seed||1 Teaspoon|
Soften yeast in warm water in large mixing bowl.
Add dry milk, sugar, salt, egg and butter; mix well.
Add flour gradually toform a stiff dough; beat well after each addition.'Let rise in warm place (85° to 90° F.) until light and doubled, 45 to 60 minutes.
Knead on floured surface until .smooth and satiny, 3 to 5 minutes.
Press or roll out dough on greased cookie sheet to a 15xl2-inch rectangle.
Place Filling down center third of dough to within 2 inches of ends.
Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.
Makefdiagonal cuts, 2 inches apart, on each side of rectangle just to edge of Filling.
Fold ends over Filling.
Then fold strips over Filling, alternating sides and crossing in center.
Brush with milk; sprinkle with sesame seed.
Let rest in warm place15 minutes.
Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
Serve plain or with Tomato Sauce.
