|Beef liver||1 Pound, cut into serving pieces|
|Hot water||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Onions||3 Large, sliced|
Cut liver into serving pieces.
Mix together flour, salt, and pepper, sprinkle over liver until all surfaces are covered, then brown liver in melted fat.
Add hot water, cover, and simmer for 1 hour.
Add sliced onions and simmer 1/2 hour longer.
