Potted Rabbit Livers
|Streaky bacon||200 Gram|
|Rabbit liver||200 Gram|
Arrange a layer of slices of bacon in a fireproof dish, then a layer of very finely minced rabbit liver.
Continue with alternate layers like this, finishing with slices of bacon moistenedÃ¢â‚¬â€if you likeÃ¢â‚¬â€with brandy.
Cover with a close-fitting lid, and cook in a cool oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
Serve hot with fried or toasted bread or with toasted rusks.
You can also serve it cold with pickles.
