Rinse chicken livers and pat dry.
Cut livers into halves.
Wrap 1 piece of bacon around 1 liver and 1 water chestnut.
Secure with wooden pick.
Place in baking pan.
Broil with door ajar for 5 to 8 minutes or until bacon is crisp; drain.
Turn livers and broil for 5 to 8 minutes or until livers test done and bacon is crisp; drain.
May omit water chestnuts.
