Sauteed Calves Liver

|Calves liver slices||6 , trimmed|
|Freshly ground black pepper||To Taste|
1. Dredge the liver with flour seasoned with salt and pepper and saute in the butter over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Reduce the heat and cook to the desired degree of doneness.
2. Transfer the liver to a heated platter
