Poached Shrimps With Lime Wedges
|Fresh shrimps||2 Pound|
|Shrimp spice/Mixed pickling spices||1 Tablespoon|
|Limes||2 , cut into thin wedges|
1) In cold water, rinse the shrimps and peel off the shells. Leave the tails on.
2) Down the back of each shrimp, make a shallow cut with a sharp-point knife. Life out the sand vein or the black line.
3) With water, half-fill a medium-sized frying pan and season with shrimp or pickling spice. Heat to simmering point and add the shrimps. Gently simmer for about 5 minutes, till the shrimps are tender. Drain well.
4) On serving plates, arrange the cooked shrimps alternatively with lime wedges.
5) Serve right away.
