Soy Lime Grilled Tuna
|Tuna steaks||16 Ounce (1 Inch Thick)|
|Lime juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Low sodium soy sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Peeled minced ginger root||1 Teaspoon|
|Dried crushed red pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Vegetable cooking spray||1|
Place fish in a shallow baking dish.
Combine lime juice and next 3 ingredients, stirring well.
Pour lime juice mixture over fish.
Cover and marinate in refrigerator 30 minutes, turning fish once.
Remove fish from marinade; reserve marinade.
Place marinade in a small saucepan; bring to a boil, and set aside.
Coat grill rack with cooking spray; place on grill over medium-hot coals (350° to 400°).
Place fish on rack; grill, covered, 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, basting often with reserved marinade.
