Ingredients
  Iceberg lettuce head 1 Large
  Tomatoes 3
  Olive oil 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Tarragon vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Dried basil 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Remove coarse outer leaves and core of 1 large, firm head iceberg lettuce.
Wash and drain well.
Wrap in paper towels and chill until ready to use.
Cut lettuce head in 6 wedges.
Cut each of 3 tomatoes in 6 wedges.
On individual salad plates, arrange 1 lettuce wedge and 3 tomato wedges.
Combine 3/4 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup tarragon vinegar, 1 teaspoon dried basil, crumbled, 1/2 teaspoon each sugar and salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
Pour over salad and serve.
