Green Peas With Lettuce

Ingredients
  Canadian bacon 1⁄4 Pound, cut into 1-inch pieces
  Vegetable oil 1 Tablespoon
  Fresh green peas 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  White onions 6 Small, peeled
  Head of lettuce 4 (Inner Leaves)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Parsley 1 Tablespoon, finely chopped
Directions

MAKING
1. In a skillet heat vegetable oil and fry bacon until brown.
2. Add peas, onions, lettuce, water, salt, pepper, and sugar.
3. Cook covered for 10 to 15 minutes.
4. Drain remaining liquid when peas are cooked.

SERVING
5. Sprinkle parsley before serving.
