Stir Fried Lettuce Hearts
|Cos lettuce||1 Large|
|Seasoned oil||3 Tablespoon|
|Ginger root pieces||4 Small (Fresh)|
|Caster sugar||1 Pinch|
|Oyster sauce||1 Tablespoon|
1. To prepare the lettuce discard the tough outer leaves trim off the discolored root, then cut open lengthways, and, depending on the size of the vegetable, cut it into 4-6 long thin strips.
2. In a preheated wok until hot heat the oil, add the ginger and salt, stir for a few times before adding the lettuce hearts.
3. Stir-fry for about 1 minute and blend well adding the sugar and oyster sauce.
4. Serve Stir Fried Lettuce Hearts hot or cold with garnish as desired.
