Cooked Cos Lettuce

Cooked Cos Lettuce is a simple and delicious side dish recipe which cannot just escape your guest's attention in any party. Why don€™t you give it a try and let me know the experience.
Ingredients
  Cos lettuce leaves 8
  Chicken stock 1⁄4 Pint (U.S. 5/8 Cup)
  Peanut oil 1 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Monosodium glutamate 1 Pinch (Ve-Tsin)
Directions

Pick over and wash the lettuce leaves.
Bring the stock, 1 dessertspoon oil, few drops soy sauce, salt and Ve-Tsin to the boil.
Drop the lettuce leaves into the liquid and cook for 1/2-1 minute.
Drain immediately.
Place on a suitable platter.
Mix together a few drops of soy sauce and peanut oil and spoon them over the lettuce.
