Cream Of Lentil Soup

|Dried lentils||1 Pound|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Carrot||1 Medium, pared and chopped|
|Stalk celery||1 Large, chopped|
|Water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Heavy cream/Half and half||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Completely soften beans as directed.
Add onion, garlic, carrot, celery and water to crock pot.
Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours (on high setting for 3 to 4 hours).
Turn to low setting and stir in cream; add salt and pepper to taste.
