HARICOTS A L'AMERICAINE

Ingredients
  Haricot beans 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sweet corn/Mealies cut from cob 1 Can (10 oz)
  Salt To Taste
  Tomatoes 1 Pound
  Onion 1
  Oil 1 Tablespoon
  Cinnamon To Taste
  Soaked beans 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Heat the oil and fry chopped onion until lightly brown.
Skin tomatoes and fry with onion.
Add corn and half the tin of water and seasonings.
Drain soaked beans and place with corn mixture in oven dish.
Cover tightly and cook in moderate oven for three hours, adding more stock as it is absorbed by the beans.
