Lemonade is a lemon drink as the name suggests and has three primary varieties – clear, cloudy and fizzy. The clear lemonade is made by the addition of lemon juice to unsweetened, carbonated water or soda. The cloudy lemonade is made by the addition of lemon juice and sugar to plain water and is usually the most commonly prepared at homes. The fizzy lemonade is made by the addition of lemon flavor to carbonated sweet water and is mostly sold as the commercially made lemonade. Lemonades can be made at home and are usually served chilled. They are great on hot summer days. Lemonade is good in the summer as it helps in balancing the salt levels in the body.
