Old Time Lemonade
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
Combine sugar and water in a saucepan.
Heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves, then bring to a full rolling boil.
Cool; add lemon juice and water.
Pour into ice-filled glasses.
Trim each glass with mint sprigs and lemon slices.
For individual servings, combine 3 to 4 tablespoons of the syrup with 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice and 1 cup water.
