|Boiling water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Citric acid/Tartaric acid||1 Tablespoon|
Squeeze the juice from the lemons.
Put the juice and skins into a large jug with the sugar, acid, and boiling water.
Stir to dissolve sugar.
Cover the jug with a plate and leave to get cold.
Discard lemon skins and bottle liquid.
Yields about 1 quart.
