|White sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sifted all purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Soda cracker crumbs||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs), rolled fine|
|Coconut||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Crumble these ingredients together with fingers or pastry mixer.
Spread 2/3 of mixture in a greased cake pan about 8 x 13 inches.
Cover with following lemon filling and top with remainder of crumbs.
Bake about 1/2 hour in a moderate oven.
Cool, cut in squares to serve.
