Lemon Squares

Ingredients
  Whole wheat flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Barley flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1 Cup (16 tbs), softened
  Powdered sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Eggs 4
  Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Lemon peel 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar powder 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

In a small mixing bowl, combine flours, butter or margarine, and powdered sugar.
Press into a 9 x 13 inch pan.
Bake in a 350°F.
Oven for 20 minutes or until slightly browned around the edges.
Remove from oven.
In Bosch bowl, beat together eggs, sugar, baking powder, salt, lemon juice, and lemon peel, if desired.
Pour over crust, and bake an additional 20 to 25 minutes.
The second baking will be browner than the first.
Cool, sprinkle sugar powder and cut into squares.
