|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Sift dry ingredients together and rub in but- ter.
Mix to a smooth dough with cold water.
Roll out on a lightly-floured board to 1/2" thickness.
Spread with a cupful of sugar com- bined with the grated rind and juice of 1 lemon.
Roll up and place in a greased oven dish.
Pour over 1 cup milk.
Bake in a moder- ate oven for 1 hour.
Serve hot with custard.
