Simple Lemon Crunch Topping For A Plain Sponge

  Whole lemon 1 , juiced to make 2 tablespoons juice
  Granulated sugar 4 Ounce (125 Gram)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Allow the sponge you want to flavor and soften cool completely before you prepare the topping.

MAKING
2. In a Pyrex glass or stainless steel mixing bowl, combine the lemon juice and granulated sugar.
3. Using a spoon, mix and immediately spoon the mixture evenly over the sponge before the sugar dissolves in the lemon juice.

SERVING
