Basic Lemon Baste

|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted|
|Lemon juice||3 Tablespoon|
|Salt and pepper||1|
Combine melted butter and lemon juice in a jar, season with salt and pepper, cover and shake well to mix.
Brush generously over seafood or poultry during cooking time.
