Strawberry Filled Lemon Ring

Ingredients
  Cream cheese 3 Ounce (1 Package)
  Lemon-flavored gelatin 3 Ounce (1 Package)
  Egg yolk 1
  Dairy sour cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Shredded lemon pee 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Stiffly beaten egg white 1
  Unsweetened strawberries 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Fresh Or Frozen)
Directions

Soften cream cheese.
Dissolve gelatin in 1 1/4 cups boiling water; cool to room temperature.
In a large bowl thoroughly combine cream cheese, egg yolk, and 1/8 teaspoon salt.
Stir in sour cream, lemon peel, and lemon juice.
Stir cooled gelatin mixture into sour cream mixture.
Chill till partially set (consistency of unbeaten egg whites).
Gently fold in the beaten egg white; slice strawberries; fold in.
Turn into a 3 1/2-cup ring mold.
Chill several hours or till firm.
Unmold gelatin on lettuce-lined platter.
If desired, fill center of ring with whole strawberries.
