Sweet Sour Lemon Squares

Ingredients
  Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Baking powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Flour 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2
  Grated lemon peel 1 Teaspoon
  Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs), packed
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Shredded coconut 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Confectioner's sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Chopped walnuts/Chopped pecans 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Crumble together margarine and flour, using fingers.
Sprinkle evenly in 9 inch square pan.
Bake in oven 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, beat eggs; mix in brown sugar, coconut, walnuts, baking powder and vanilla.
Spread over first mixture when taken from oven; bake 20 minutes longer.
Mix lemon peel and juice with confectioners' sugar to make a thin frosting.
Spread this over top as soon as pan comes from the oven.
Cool.
