Lemon Barbecued Turkey

Ingredients
  Turkey 10 1⁄2 Pound, quartered
  Garlic cloves 4 Small, crushed
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Vegetable oil 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Ground thyme 2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 2 Teaspoon
Directions

Place turkey in a large shallow container.
Mash garlic with salt in a medium bowl, using a fork.
Add remaining ingredients, stirring well; pour over turkey.
Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours, turning turkey occasionally.
Remove turkey from marinade, reserving marinade.
Prepare fire in a covered grill.
Place turkey, skin side down, on grill.
Cover with lid, and grill over medium coals 2 hours or until done, turning every 15 minutes.
Baste turkey with marinade during last 30 minutes of grilling time.
Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before slicing.
